Door-to-door salesman ousted | Enumclaw police reports June 8-12

CAN'T SELL HERE: Police were told June 12 of solicitors selling meat products door-to-door in the Elk Meadows neighborhood. An officer located the salesman and advised of the regulations against that type of activity. The seller agreed to cease his operation.

EXTRA PATROL: A city woman asked for extra police patrol June 12, stating a man had approached her door two nights in a row.

AMBER ALERT: As part of the Amber Alert program, Enumclaw police were notified of three children taken from a Marysville, Wash., location by their father and a female companion.

SOLICITING DRUGS: Police were asked June 11 to provide extra patrol in the vicinity of Griffin Avenue and Cole Street after a subject was observed soliciting drugs. The suspect, known to local police, was not located.

DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: Officers responded the morning of June 11 to a Jefferson Avenue address and a report of domestic violence/malicious mischief. Investigation revealed there was cause for arrest. The suspect was located and booked for fourth-degree assault.

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: Security staff from a city school told police June 11 of malicious mischief that occurred the weekend prior. Police were given the names of two suspects.

JUST KIDS: Police took a report June 11 of someone yelling and stomping on the floor of a Myrtine Street apartment. It was determined to be two small children playing. A parent assured they would be quiet.

NO ENTRY GAINED: A Warner Avenue resident told police June 11 she arrived home to find her door open; it appeared to have been kicked in. An officer noted the damage done and assured no entry was made.

MEDS TAKEN: An officer responded to a Griffin Avenue location June 11 after someone reported medication stolen from a coat pocket.

SEVERAL CALLS: Police took numerous 911 calls the afternoon of June 10 regarding a disturbance at a residence on 264th Avenue Southeast. An officer determined there had been an issue over a recent eviction and the suspect was no longer at the scene.

FIGHT REPORT: A fight was reported June 9 at a Watson Street location. Police determined it was a case of mutual combat with neither party wishing to press charges. They agreed to remain separated for the night.

STAY AWAY: Enumclaw High School security personnel notified police June 8 of someone trespassing on school grounds. The subject departed before police arrived, but was soon located. He was given a letter trespassing him from school property.

BURGLARY: Police responded June 8 to a Semanski Street residence and a report of a  home burglary. It was determined entry was gained through a window.
