A traffic stop at 12:52 a.m. Oct. 7 resulted in a driver being taken into custody and booked into jail on a drug charge and, additionally, for driving with a suspended license. The incident occurred on Roosevelt Avenue and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

DRIVER ARRESTED: A traffic stop at 12:52 a.m. Oct. 7 resulted in a driver being taken into custody and booked into jail on a drug charge and, additionally, for driving with a suspended license. The incident occurred on Roosevelt Avenue and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

EXTINGUISHED: An officer responded at 11 a.m. Oct. 6 to assist firefighters at the scene of a brush fire, which was quickly extinguished. The incident was at Southeast 418th Street and 295th Place Southeast.
