Officers received a call reporting a driver swerving all over Veterans Memorial Drive on May 15. Officers made contact with the vehicle after turning on their vehicle's emergency lights, although the subject drove several blocks before coming to a stop.

Domestic violence: Officers were dispatched to a residence on May 15 after a report came in about a large noise disturbance. Dispatch advised the female living at the residence had a no contact order against her ex-husband. When officers arrived at the scene, they witnessed a vehicle leaving.Officers pursued and discovered the wife and children inside. The wife said she was driving to the police department to report the incident. According to the wife, her ex-husband was preventing her from leaving the residence with her children.The wife said she was struck and pushed during this time. Officers could not locate the husband at the residence, but a cell phone finder application on the wife’s phone pinpointed the husband’s location. The husband was arrested without incident for violating a no contact order.

DUI: Officers received a call reporting a driver swerving all over Veterans Memorial Drive on May 15. Officers made contact with the vehicle after turning on their vehicle’s emergency lights, although the subject drove several blocks before coming to a stop. Officers noticed the smell of intoxicant’s car as they gave officers their registration. The subject was unable to locate any proof of insurance. After several tests, the subject was arrested for DUI and Cascade Towing impounded the vehicle.
