Officers contacted a driver who had hit a curb and drove across part of the island on Veterans Memorial Drive Feb. 22. The driver told the officers the front left shock of the car popped off, which was why he was driving this way.

DROVE ONTO THE ISLAND: Officers contacted a driver who had hit a curb and drove across part of the island on Veterans Memorial Drive Feb. 22. The driver told the officers the front left shock of the car popped off, which was why he was driving this way. A record check revealed the driver had a suspended license and several warrants out of Bonney Lake. The driver was arrested and the car impounded.

BURGLARY IN PROGRESS: Officers were called for a burglary in progress Feb. 24. When officers arrives at the scene, they saw a car occupied by two males and a female, the subjects the reporting party described. Officers detained the subjects, who explained they recently resided at the house but were kicked out and had 24 hours to get their stuff out of the house. The female said they had permission with another resident to come get their stuff at that time. Officers confirmed the three detained subjects had permission to get their stuff and leave. Officers stood by as the items were removed from the house.
