High wind gusts are creating poor visibility in the same location of a multi-vehicle collision that closed Interstate 90 near the Vantage Bridge earlier today.

The Washington State Department of Transportation will keep eastbound I-90 closed at milepost 115 near Kittitas until Friday, July 18. Drivers are being detoured at milepost 115 to the Old Vantage Highway, which is about a 15-mile detour. Drivers will experience delays along the detour due to increased traffic volumes.

Westbound I-90 will not be impacted.
