ENUMCLAW

Feb. 25

– Police responded to a city park after taking a citizen complaint about a man urinating in public. By the time officers arrived the suspect had departed.

– City police responded to a Southeast 448th Street location to assist with a rollover accident. The incident was turned over to another agency.

– In a wooded area along a trail off Battersby Avenue, police placed “vacate” notices.

– Police took a report of a chair being stolen from the porch of a Porter Street residence. There was no suspect information.

Feb. 24

– Police were told that someone was improperly making purchases under the reporting party’s name. A fraud report was taken.

– It was shortly before 2 a.m. when police were told of a suspicious vehicle in the vicinity of Cooper Lane and Warner Avenue. Officers located the vehicle and found a medical worker who had just served a client and was waiting for her car windows to defrost.

– At 1 a.m. an officer was dispatched to Black Diamond to help transport a prisoner and assist with a vehicle impound.

Feb. 23

– Police checked the Enumclaw cemetery just before midnight, after observing an open gate. Nothing was out of place.

– An individual called the police at 10:34 p.m., reporting that his mother had locked him out of an apartment. After police made contact, he was arrested for malicious mischief and booked into the city jail.

– A citizen called the police at 10 p.m., reporting that someone was driving on the playfield of a Harding Street park. Officers responded and gathered information about the people involved. The city was going to determine if enough damage had been done to warrant prosecution.

– A two-car collision had police responding at 1:12 p.m. to the vicinity of Garrett Street and Stevenson Avenue. A report was taken.

– Lines snapped and were on the ground in the area of Kibler Avenue and Porter Street. The situation was referred to the appropriate outside agency.

Feb. 22

– City police were asked to help locate the spot where a flooded roadway had been reported. After finding the problem at 268th Avenue Southeast and Southeast 464th Street, police notified King County deputies.

Feb. 21

– A man was arrested at a Bondgard Avenue location for domestic violence/malicious mischief after punching a hole in a wall. Bond was posted the following morning.

– A hit-and-run incident involving a parked vehicle occurred on Florence Avenue. A report was taken but there was no suspect information.

– A two-car crash had police responding at 6:21 p.m. to a Watson Street location. A report was taken and citations were issued. Earlier in the day, officers had responded to an accident in which a grocery delivery truck struck a parked vehicle.

Feb. 20

– Information was received about a citizen receiving threats via voicemail. The details were added to an existing report concerning threats being made.

– An officer on afternoon patrol spotted two women involved in an altercation. Contact was made with both and it was determined to be verbal only. Both parties were leaving the area.

Feb. 19

– Police located someone riding a minibike on the grass at McFarland Park. Officers made contact, determined no damage had been done and advised the rider of park rules prohibiting such activity. The rider agreed to push the bike to his vehicle and depart.

– A suicidal individual was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital for an involuntary commitment.

– A catalytic converter was removed and stolen from a vehicle parked at a Watson Street business.

Feb. 18

– Police in Eatonville asked that Enumclaw officers contact a city resident and determine if the resident knew the current location of their vehicle. Despite still being the registered owner the city resident reported the vehicle had been sold.

– Police were told of a theft at the Green River College building at Griffin Avenue and Porter Street. The incident had occurred during the past week and there were no immediate suspects or witnesses.

– A report was taken concerning an individual who had entered a Cole Street building and damaged property. Police could not locate the suspect. A malicious mischief report was taken.

BLACK DIAMOND

Feb. 21

– An officer heard of a suspicious person on Fairfax Street at Bruckners Way. The individual was found to not have a valid driver’s license and was warned not to drive the vehicle he had parked in the area. Several minutes later, the officer observed the man driving his vehicle from the area. A traffic stop was conducted, the driver was cited, the vehicle was impounded and the driver was released from the scene.

Feb. 20

– Police received several reports of suspicious vehicles. In each case it was determined there was no criminal activity occurring.

Feb. 19

– At 7:46 a.m. officers heard from Valley Communication about a suspicious person at a city business. Officers were told the individual was known to police due to a stalking incident. Police located the man a few blocks away and determined he had left presents at the business. He was told to halt his behavior and he agreed.

– At 12:54 a.m. city officers were dispatched to Enumclaw to assist police who were dealing with a suspicious person call. Officers checked a storage area associated with the call but were unable to locate a suspect.

Feb. 17

– Officers located a stolen vehicle near the 21500 bock of Covington-Sawyer Road. They secured the vehicle while awaiting a search warrant and it was moved to a secure location.

Feb. 16

– Just after midnight, police spotted flashlights being used inside an unfinished home in the 33300 block of Holly Avenue. They were unable to locate the source of the light but recovered property and found evidence of trespassing. Unable to locate anyone, they cleared the scene.

– Police were dispatched to the 29000 block of 216th Avenue Southeast regarding an unwanted individual. They trespassed the suspect from the property and also recovered items that had been lost or stolen.

– Officers responded to the 32500 block of Stuart Avenue and the scene of a reported vehicle prowl. Police found an unlocked vehicle had been entered and a garage door opener had been taken.

– Police headed to a Newcastle Drive address to speak with a complainant who wanted to know how to deal with a parking issue involving a neighbor. It was a civil issue and no crime had been committed.

– An officer responded to the 23500 block of Granite Court in reference to a vehicle prowl. The victim’s unlocked vehicle had been entered and items had been stolen. A second call came from another resident of Granite Court who also reported a possible vehicle prowl; a car door had been opened but nothing was taken.

– Police replied to the 29100 block of 218th Place Southeast where property had been found. Officers determined the items had been taken during a vehicle prowl in the Ten Trails development.

– A resident of Southeast 290th Street called police at 5:26 a.m. reporting he had confronted someone in his back yard. The intruder stated he was trying to get to a nearby location. Officers checked the area but could not locate the suspect.

– Police conducted a 12:26 a.m. traffic stop in the vicinity of Baker Street and Fourth Avenue. The motorist was in possession of a suspended driver’s license and was issue a criminal citation. The vehicle was released to a licensed driver.
