ENUMCLAW

March 4

– Police took an early-morning report of a break-in at a model home on Elmont Avenue.

March 3

– An officer transported an inmate to the SCORE jail in Des Moines and, while there, picked up an inmate who was wanted on an Enumclaw warrant. The inmate was delivered to the city jail.

– Police noted a case of malicious mischief by an inmate at the city jail.

– An officer responded with medical personnel to a report of an injured child. It was determined to be an accident with no need for police involvement.

– Police were told of a man who walks a dog in the morning and looks into apartment windows. Officers performed extra patrol of the area but did not spot the individual.

– Stickers were found placed on the backs of street signs. An officer checked and found one at Railroad Street and Stevenson Avenue. Information was forwarded to city crews.

– Police took a call at 12:32 a.m. regarding a domestic violence incident that had just occurred. An officer responded to a Griffin Avenue location; one person was arrested and booked into jail.

March 2

– A Farrelly Street resident reported a vehicle had been entered and property was taken. There were no suspects.

March 1

– Police made a traffic stop at 11:30 p.m. in the vicinity of Warner Avenue and McKean Court. The driver was arrested for investigation of DUI and the vehicle was impounded.

– A report was received at 11:19 a.m. to two people drinking at the corner of Stevenson Avenue and Railroad Street. Contact was made and a man was cited.

– Two morning reports were received regarding vehicles being entered and property taken. Calls came from residents of Division and Florence streets. There were no suspects in either case.

– An employee of a Roosevelt Avenue business reported at 1:56 a.m. a theft had just occurred. The suspect vehicle was located by Buckley police and individuals were detained; they were later released to parents.

February 29

– Police were told of a road rage incident in which the reporting party had been assaulted. An officer contacted all involved and the victim declined to press charges.

– Staff at a Griffin Avenue business asked that an individual be trespassed from the property. Police responded and arrested the individual due to outstanding warrants; a new charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was added and the suspect was delivered to the city jail for booking.

– A patrolling officer spotted a suspect in a previous case (possession of stolen property/vehicle prowl) at a Griffin Avenue location. The individual was arrested for violating a no-contact order, being in possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was booked into the city jail.

February 28

– A 4 a.m. traffic stop on McHugh Avenue turned up a suspect wanted on multiple warrants issued by several agencies. The individual was advised of the warrants and released after the agencies declined action.

February 27

– Police heard of a possibly-impaired driver, found the motorist on Railroad Street and made an arrest for DUI. The suspect was booked into jail and released the following morning after posting bail. The vehicle was impounded.

February 29

– At approximately 5:18 p.m., officers responded to the vicinity of Roberts Drive and Willow Avenue Southeast in the Ten Trails development after hearing of a silver sports utility vehicle swerving all over the road. The vehicle was last seen driving south on Willow Ave but a search for the SUV was not successful.

February 28

– Officers were asked shortly after 10 p.m. to conduct a welfare check. The reporting party advised that her boyfriend was suicidal and she did not know where he was. Officers attempted to locate the man and provided neighboring agencies with a description of individual and his vehicle. After being unable to locate the subject he was recorded as a missing person.

February 27

– Police were told shortly before 10:30 a.m. that a pedestrian had been struck and injured. The report noted a driver was moving his trailer through a parking lot in the 31600 block of Third Avenue when he backed into an elderly man who was walking across the lot. The victim was transported to the hospital for a possible hip injury.

– Officers conducted a traffic stop at 12:50 a.m. near the 22800 block of Roberts Drive and determined that the juvenile driver did not have a valid license. The driver was issued an infraction and released to a guardian. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

February 26

– Police received an afternoon call concerning a woman who was attempting to take her vehicle from an impound lot without paying her towing bill. Officers arrived and spoke with the owner who reported that the vehicle owner had paid her bill and no assistance was needed.

– An officer providing court security witnessed someone appearing for a court date, driving a vehicle. The individual was known to possess a suspended license and, after being seen by the judge, was arrested on the new charge.

February 25

– Police received three reports of vehicles being prowled. A Selleck Place resident said numerous items had been taken from her unlocked vehicle the previous evening. Also, a resident reported a theft from a vehicle parked in the 31100 block of Third Avenue. In another report, a Cumberland Way resident reported someone had entered his vehicle and rummaged through his possessions but nothing was missing. There were no immediate leads or suspects any of the three cases.

February 24

– At approximately 4:15 a.m., Black Diamond officers were dispatched to a burglary report in the 31400 block of Third Avenue. The case is under investigation.
