Spring Sports Registration!

 

Make your sweetie’s day, order Valentine’s flowers today! Valentine’s Day is coming up and the Hornet Floral Shop is taking your orders now! We have several options for you to choose from and offer free cards and delivery to class on Valentine’s Day! Surprise them on February 14th! Stop by the Ag Building, 810 and order today! We will be taking orders until February 12th and have limited products, so get yours today!

 

The Hive is now offering a special! Now through February 14th buy an Arizona, Cup Noodles or Candy and receive one raffle ticket to be put in a drawing. Every Friday two names will be drawn and the winners will receive a FREE slice of pizza and an Arizona of their choice. Winners will be announced every Monday. Come into The Hive for your chance to win!

Congrats to the winners if the Hive’s Customer Appreciation week.  Amanda Bieber and Sam Nielson come claim your prize at the Hive during lunch.

Congrats EHS Equestrian Team on a winning weekend at their first district meet at the Tacoma Unit.   Way to go!  Tabari Anderson , Addie Bergquist , Amy Burrill , Haley Burton, Rachel Campbell, Carragan Cook , Emma Cross, Taylor Davis, Samantha Desmul , Presley Duhnam,

Rorey Glen, Kaylee Markonich, Mackenna Nissen, Lynsey Peebles, Amanda Stenslie, Hailey Stenslie, Emily Williams, Rachel Williams & Sabrina Woodard.  Also the Drill Team placed 2nd and the Quad Team placed 1st.         Go Hornets!!

 

Spring Sports Registration begins NOW.  All spring sports athletes please begin registering for spring sports now.  As for winter sports season our spring sports season begins the day we come back from break.  Please be registered before then!!  Sports available are baseball, fastpitch, judo, men’s soccer, girl’s tennis, track, girls water polo.  Stop in the Athletics Office if you have questions.

 

 

 

 

Hey fall & spring athletes:  If you need a spring season warm up – there will be Open Gym every Tuesday  from 7-9pm @ Thunder Mountain.  If you have any questions, please contact Anna DeGroot. (note the time change – now 7:00PM-9-00PM)

 

Boys Swim Team won 1st in the Sub- district meet at Lakes this last weekend.  The Boys Relay made their goal of breaking the 28 year school record in the 200 yard medley relay. Members are Will Cooper, Thomas Peterson, Bennon VanHoof & Brandon Vick! Congratulations to all!

CLUBS:

 

Native American /Alaskan Native Club meets monthly with no fees to participate. The group will learn leadership skills and participate in cultural events. If you have questions please see Cathy in the Counseling Center.

 

“ALL” EHS Students!!!!  The Enumclaw HS (EHS) Running Club has begun! If you are interested in joining, meet in front of the weight room at 2:55PM Monday through Thursday and Fridays at 1:45PM. This club will go through the rest of the school year. This free club is open to anyone interested and is Open to all abilities.  If you have questions Talk to Coach Stussy or Coach Trevor.

 

Spanish Club is a group that celebrates Hispanic and Latino culture and practices the use of the Spanish language.  The club is organized and ran by student leaders in the University of Washington Spanish class.  Spanish club meets once a month in Profa. Stewart’s room 141 from 2:45-3:45.  Each month we learn and celebrate a topic related to Hispanic and/or Latino Heritage.  This is great place to meet friends, earn culture credit points, and have a good time.  Membership dues are $5.00 per semester.   2012/2013 dates: 2/14, 3/14, 4/11, and 5/9.

 

Weight Club days and times for the winter season are now Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2:45-4:00.  Join today! Please pay the cashier $10.00 along with a signed weight club form.  Please see Coach Gunderson with any questions or Coach Murrell (Stussy)

YoungLife is on Monday nights at 7:37PM in Senior Locker Bay.  All students are welcome.

 

The Rainier Plateau Rugby Club is seeking both boys and girls for their teams. The season is just starting and will end in early May. No experience or knowledge of playing rugby is necessary and there are no tryouts or cuts. The teams practices on Monday and Wednesday nights 6pm – 8pm at Sumner, Bonney Lake and occasionally Auburn High Schools. To find about more on

  • Enumclaw Special Olympics Pack the Gym Night, Wednesday, February 13th at 6:00PM.  Our Enumclaw Special Olympics Junior teams will be playing the Auburn Special Olympics junior teams.
  • We will also be introducing our new High School Unified Team at the game.
  • Come out and support our younger athletes and welcome the new  Enumclaw Special Olympics Hornets High School Team (ages 16 to 21)
  • Rally Towel will be available to purchase at the game for $5 to help support our team.
  • Watch out for next years’ game when the Enumclaw High School team will be playing White River High School.

 

Attention seniors:  Fast approaching is graduation and the all night grad party that immediately follows.  More than half the available seats have been sold!  Pick up your informational packet in either the main office or the activities office.  Organizers of the event will be at both lunches on Wednesday the 13th and Thursday the 14th to answer questions and accept payments.  Don’t delay signing up and missing out on this fun event!
