It’s time to apply for membership in the National Honor Society.  Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.3 and no serious disciplinary history are welcome to apply.  Please see Mrs. Ross in room 211 or Mrs. Sandfer in room 408 for an application.  Completed applications are due back to either teacher by March 1st.

The Robotics Club will not be having a meeting this week.  The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 26.

Our next Credit Retrieval after school class begins Monday, February 25th.  If we do not have the minimum registrations by Friday, February 15th – the class will be cancelled.

Attention All Fastpitch Players:  There will be a PRE-SEASON MEETING on Thursday, February 14 @ 2:40 in the Commons.   Everyone interested needs to attend.  OPEN GYM is still happening on Tuesday’s from 7-9 @ TMMS (please note:  No Open Gym on Feb. 19 during Mid-Winter Break)

Join GSA for a Valentine’s Day party, this Wednesday in room 142. We’ll make valentines and watch a movie. Bring $3.00 for pizza or bring snacks.

Spring Sports Registration begins NOW.  All spring sports athletes please begin registering for spring sports now.  As for winter sports season our spring sports season begins the day we come back from break.  Please be registered before then!!  Sports available are baseball, fastpitch, judo, men’s soccer, girl’s tennis, track, girls water polo.  Stop in the Athletics Office if you have questions.

CLUBS:

Native American /Alaskan Native Club meets monthly with no fees to participate. The group will learn leadership skills and participate in cultural events. If you have questions please see Cathy in the Counseling Center.

“ALL” EHS Students!!!!  The Enumclaw HS (EHS) Running Club has begun! If you are interested in joining, meet in front of the weight room at 2:55PM Monday through Thursday and Fridays at 1:45PM. This club will go through the rest of the school year. This free club is open to anyone interested and is Open to all abilities.  If you have questions Talk to Coach Stussy or Coach Trevor.

Spanish Club is a group that celebrates Hispanic and Latino culture and practices the use of the Spanish language.  The club is organized and ran by student leaders in the University of Washington Spanish class. Spanish club meets once a month in Profa. Stewart’s room 141 from 2:45-3:45.  Each month we learn and celebrate a topic related to Hispanic and/or Latino Heritage.  This is great place to meet friends, earn culture credit points, and have a good time.  Membership dues are $5.00 per semester.   2012/2013 dates: 2/14, 3/14, 4/11, and 5/9.

YoungLife is on Monday nights at 7:37PM in Senior Locker Bay.  All students are welcome.

The Rainier Plateau Rugby Club is seeking both boys and girls for their teams. The season is just starting and will end in early May. No experience or knowledge of playing rugby is necessary and there are no tryouts or cuts. The teams practices on Monday and Wednesday nights 6pm – 8pm at Sumner, Bonney Lake and occasionally Auburn High Schools. To find about more on

  • Enumclaw Special Olympics Pack the Gym Night, Wednesday, February 13th at 6:00PM.  Our Enumclaw Special Olympics Junior teams will be playing the Auburn Special Olympics junior teams.
  • We will also be introducing our new High School Unified Team at the game.
  • Come out and support our younger athletes and welcome the new  Enumclaw Special Olympics Hornets High School Team (ages 16 to 21)
  • Rally Towel will be available to purchase at the game for $5 to help support our team.
  • Watch out for next years’ game when the Enumclaw High School team will be playing White River High School.

Attention seniors:  Fast approaching is graduation and the all night grad party that immediately follows. More than half the available seats have been sold!  Pick up your informational packet in either the main office or the activities office.  Organizers of the event will be at both lunches on Wednesday the 13th and Thursday the 14th to answer questions and accept payments.  Don’t delay signing up and missing out on this fun event!
