INTOXICATED

• About 6:30 p.m. Thursday, police were told of a woman walking down the middle of Griffin Avenue. Officers responded and, due to the woman’s high level of intoxication, transported her home.

ASSAULT

• A citizen arrived in the police station lobby shortly before 8 p.m. Jan. 14, reporting he had been assaulted at the former BMX track near Battersby Avenue. The suspect was described as about 6 feet tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes. It was noted he may also have facial injuries sustained during the assault. The suspect was not immediately located.

HOME BURGLARY

• A Lafromboise Street resident told police Jan. 14 that an Xbox and games had been stolen from the home. There were no immediate leads or suspects. About four hours later, however, a suspect was taken into custody at a city mini-mart, the missing Xbox was identified by the owner and the suspect was booked.

VANDALISM

• A pellet gun was used to put three holes in the northeast window of a Cole Street business. The report was lodged the afternoon of Jan. 14.

HIT AND RUN

• Staff at Enumclaw Regional Hospital requested police assistance Jan. 14. They were treating the victim of a hit-and-run incident. Before the officer arrived, it was determined the trouble originated in Bonney Lake, so the call was transferred to Bonney Lake dipatcher.

IMPOUNDED

• About 5:30 a.m. Jan. 13, a caller told police an orange pickup had been stolen from Myrtine Street, where it was parked. An officer called back, reporting the truck had been impounded about five hours earlier because it had been parked on the street for several months and had vehicle tabs that expired in 2006.

• Staff at the city’s Parks Department requested Jan. 13 that an Econoline van be impounded. It had sitting at a city park for move than six weeks.
