SLEEP IT OFF: Police were told Feb. 23 of a possibly-intoxicated driver headed toward Enumclaw. The suspect individual was found, legally parked and sleeping in  her car. She was advised against driving and agreed.

DRIVER ARRESTED: A Feb. 23 traffic stop on McHugh Avenue resulted in the driver booked for operating a vehicle with a suspended license and arrested on two outstanding warrants. The vehicle was impounded and a passenger was released at the scene.

VEHICLE RECOVERED: A stolen vehicle was found shortly before 1 a.m. Feb. 22 in a Roosevelt Avenue parking lot. The registered owner was notified but had no way to move the automobile at the time.

TEXT THREATS: A citizen arrived at the police station lobby the afternoon of Feb. 22, reporting threats that had been received via text messaging. An officer took a report and was to contact the suspect and advise that the threats should cease.

WARRANT ARREST: Police determined Feb. 21 a man due to be released from local custody was wanted on an arrest warrant issued by the Issaquah Police Department. He was held until Issaquah authorities arrived to take custody.

HOME THEFTS: A Roosevelt Avenue resident told police Feb. 21 some items had been stolen from the home, including jewelry and some gold. A report was taken. The same day, a resident of Noble Fir Court arrived home to discover someone had broken into the residence and taken unidentified items. There were signs of forced entry.

NOT WANTED: Shortly before noon Feb. 21, police attempted to locate a man who reportedly had created a ruckus at a Cole Street business, throwing food around. The subject left and could not be located. The business owner asked that the man be banned for life from the establishment.

DOMESTIC DISPUTE: Police received an anonymous call at 7 p.m. Feb. 21 from someone stating a man was choking a woman and slamming her against the door on the front porch of a Myrtine Street residence. Police responded, took a man into custody for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence and booked him into jail.

TRASH TROUBLE: Police responded the morning of Feb. 20 to the vicinity of Fredrickson Street and Wilson Avenue after hearing of a vehicle being used to block garbage trucks from an alley. An officer made contact and was told by the driver that trucks had repeatedly been driven over his lawn. The issue was settled upon police contact.

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: An officer responded the morning of Feb. 20 to a Cole Street address following a report of a large piece of concrete being thrown through a window. There were no immediate suspects.

INVOLUNTARY COMMIT: Police responded Feb 20 to a Bondgard Avenue address to assist fire department personnel, who evaluated a patient and then transported her to Valley Regional Medical Center for an involuntary commitment.

HARASSMENT? Police received three calls the evening of Feb. 20 from a man stating he was being followed and harassed. He was unable to name who the suspects might be, provide a description or state why they would be following him. He was warned against making further calls if, in fact, no one was around.
