CALL THE MANAGER: Police received a call at 12:15 a.m. March 30 from a Semanski Street resident who was complaining about loud music and banging sounds from an upstairs apartment. Police warned one resident to turn down the music and, because it was a dispute between tenants, the caller was advised to seek a resolution to the problem through the manager.

THEFT: A fax machine and a revolver were taken during a March 30 theft from a vehicle parked near the intersection of Griffin Avenue and Wells Street.

KEEP THINGS CALM: Staff at Enumclaw Regional Hospital asked police to do a “walk through” of the waiting room the afternoon of March 30, as people who had been involved in a traffic accident were being a bit disruptive.

FOUND BIKE: A bicycle was found the morning of March 29 at Southwood Elementary School. There were no reports of a stolen bike matching its description, so it was taken to the station for safekeeping.

INTOXICATED DRIVER: An officer was dispatched at 3:40 p.m. March 29 to the vicinity of state Route 410 and Warner Avenue after police heard of a vehicle being driven erratically. A suspect vehicle was located and the driver was arrested for driving under the influence. The vehicle was impounded.

JEWELRY THEFT: An officer responded the afternoon of March 29 to a Watson Street address and contacted a theft victim. Jewelry valued at $100 had been taken from the victim’s home sometime during the previous week. The owner had located her missing items in a Puyallup pawn shop.

JERKY THEFT: An employee of a Roosevelt Avenue business called police at 4:30 p.m. March 29 after a juvenile male took a piece of beef jerky valued at $1 and fled on foot. Police were unable to locate the suspect.

FAKE IDENTIFICATION: While assisting a Liquor Control Board representative at approximately 8 p.m. March 26 at a Railroad Street business, an officer contacted a subject believed to be a minor in possession of both alcohol and a false license. The suspect fled on foot but was taken into custody the following morning at his home.

TWO CHARGES: A traffic stop at 2:08 a.m. resulted in a man taken into custody for driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license. His vehicle was impounded.

STOLEN PRELUDE: Police were told at 4:22 a.m. March 27 of a 1986 Honda Prelude that had been stolen from a Harmony Lane address. Minutes later, an officer spotted the vehicle in the vicinity of state Route 164 and 244th Avenue Southeast. A male suspect was taken into custody for vehicle theft and the recovered vehicle was released to the registered owner.

STOLEN CIVIC: Police took a report at 4:30 a.m. March 27 of a 1989 Honda Civic that had been stolen from an Enumclaw Regional Hospital parking lot.

THEFT: Items were reported stolen the afternoon of March 27 from a commercial storage unit. The victim was to provide an inventory of all missing items.

ASSAULT: A caller told police the evening of March 27 her daughter had been assaulted by a known suspect. The suspect fled with a friend. Contact was made and the matter was settled.

NO PANTS: Police were contacted at 11:35 p.m. March 27 about a man walking along Charwila Lane, wearing no pants. Police could not locate anyone in need.

SHED THEFT: Items were reportedly stolen from a shed behind a Porter Street residence. The call came the morning of March 28. The two male suspects were said to be driving a red minivan.

FEMALE ASSAULTED: A female told police at 2:47 a.m. March 26 she had been assaulted by a woman after receiving threatening text messages. Police determined the incident was a case of mutual combat. No weapons were used and no medical aid was required.

IMPAIRED DRIVER: An officer was advised the afternoon of Feb. 26 to locate someone who had been drinking and was driving with two children in the vehicle. The vehicle was located and the driver was arrested, booked and released.
