Enumclaw resident Damian Pina-Raymundo recently pled guilty to federal drug trafficking charges.
The guilty plea was entered on June 6, and was accepted on June 24.
Pina-Raymundo was one of 13 people who were indicted for drug trafficking back in May 2024.
Prior to arrests, investigators had already seized 59 kilograms of fentanyl pills, 81 kilograms of methamphetamine, 21 kilos of cocaine and 11 firearms, according to a Department of Justice press release.
And during the May 14 arrests alone, law enforcement seized an additional 12-plus kilograms of methamphetamine, more than 14,000 fentanyl pills, a half-kilogram of cocaine and 42 firearms.
At Pina-Raymundo’s home outside the Muckleshoot Reservation on May 14, officers confiscated a Ruger Single Six revolver, a Kimber Raptor II pistol, a PMF AR 15 rifle, nineteen magazines, 135 rounds of ammo, a rifle lower, 5,000 grams of meth, and $1,210, according to court documents.
Court documents show that Pina-Raymundo was often in contact with Hector Duran Aldaco, 23, of Federal Way, who was named the lead defendant in this case. The two often discussed obtaining and distributing large amounts of drugs.
Pina-Raymundo pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, which was the only charge for him in the original inditement.
For pleading guilty, prosecutors are recommending the low-end of the sentencing guidelines, though this is not binding.
The minimum term of imprisonment for the one count of conspiracy to distribute controlled substances if five years, a $5,000,000 fine, and at least four years of supervision after release.
The maximum imprisonment time is 40 years.
