Enumclaw residents Don and Darlene French celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house on Saturday, July 12.

The festivities took place at the Church of the Nazarene, 2501 Warner Ave. in Enumclaw.

The couple have lived in the area for many years. He taught fifth grade at J.J. Smith and Southwood Elementary for 23 years and she started the daycare, preschool and Christian school at the Nazarene Church and worked there for 17 years.
