The American Cancer Society urges Enumclaw to take up the fight against cancer in our community. The 2009 Enumclaw Relay For Life Luau For Life seeks former participants to join the reunion team and invites local businesses to sponsor the event.

Join the group at J.J. Smith Elementary June 20 and 21 for a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for the American Cancer Society. Relay For Life helps the community celebrate the lives of those who have faced cancer, remember loved ones lost and fight back against the disease.

Join the reunion team

Enumclaw’s reunion team, The OLDies but Goodies, is seeking former participants of Relay For Life. Anyone is eligible who has participated in a past Enumclaw Relay For Life event. Team members will get the special opportunity to walk a reunion lap with other former participants. To register, visit www.enumclawrelay.com and register by May 20. The 2009 registration fee has been reduced 50 percent to $50. Former and current cancer patients, those who have lost a loved one to cancer, families, businesses, civic organizations and the public are invited to take part in this exciting team event.
