EPFR Station 118 burglarized

East Pierce Fire and Rescue Station 118 in Edgewood was burglarized sometime during the night of May 18. The subjects apparently entered the station through a window on the side of the firehouse, the Local Union 3520 wrote on their Facebook.

The subjects apparently entered the station through a window on the side of the firehouse, the Local Union 3520 wrote on their Facebook.

Items that were taken include a rescue tool valued at over $10,000, 2 portable radios valued at more than $5,000 dollars, a firefighter’s iPhone, and possibly other firefighter protective equipment.

A nearby neighbor later found a firefighter’s personal protective equipment gear bag with the equipment still inside.
