The Washington State Patrol investigated a fatality collision involving a motorcycle that occurred on June 9th at approximately 12:00 pm on SR 410 near Crystal Mountain Blvd. The motorcycle, driven by a 71 year old male, was traveling westbound when it attempted to pass traffic in the eastbound lanes. That specific area prohibits passing in either direction.
The motorcycle struck a pick-up truck that was traveling eastbound, causing the motorcycle to crash into the westbound lanes of traffic on SR 410. The rider of the motorcycle was transported by helicopter to Harborview Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.
