Police responded March 16 to the 100 block of Naches Street after a resident reported two men fled a detached garage as he entered.

GARAGE PROWL: Police responded March 16 to the 100 block of Naches Street after a resident reported two men fled a detached garage as he entered. A check of the area turned up nothing. The property owner could determine that only a cordless drill was missing. The incident was forwarded to an investigator.

ARREST WARRANT: Officers stopped a 46-year-old Buckley man March 14 due to an equipment violation. He was found to be driving with a suspended license and was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant. He was arrested, given both an infraction and citation, and then transferred to the Bonney Lake Police Department so he could be booked on the warrant.

BURGLARY: Officers were dispatched the evening of March 14 to the 200 block of Naches Street following a reported burglary. The victim reported someone had cut the lock from a detached garage and stolen tools and softball equipment. The incident was forwarded to an investigator.

DRUG ARREST: The afternoon of March 13, a man was contacted by Buckley police at a Main Street location and arrested for drug possession.

SHOPLIFTING: Officers were dispatched the evening of March 13 to a state Route 410 location following a reported shoplifting incident. The suspect had fled the scene, but the store owner was able to identify the vehicle the man used. Police identified the suspect as a 40-year-old Buckley resident after viewing security video. Officers could not contact the man so he was to be issued a criminal citation through Buckley Municipal Court.
