Have fun walking or running the Foothills Dash | Pierce County

Enjoy the scenic beauty of the Foothills Trail at the Seventh Annual Foothills Dash on Saturday, March 5. The 5K and 10K run/walk starts at 9 a.m. at the Orting Eagles Lodge parking lot, 112 Bridge St, Orting. Check in and registration begins at 7 a.m.

Pierce County Parks invites runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. The 5K and 10K runs are competitively timed races and ribbons are awarded to the top finishers in each age bracket. Early registration costs for participants age 13 and over is $20 until February 21. Registration after February 21 will be $30.

Youth fees are $5 for 1 mile and $10 for the 5K and 10K walk/runs. The 5K and 10K courses are USATF certified. T-shirts are available for an additional $15.
