Help wanted | Enumclaw Police Blotter

An adult male entered a city business the afternoon of Oct. 4, asking for medical aid and the Washington State Patrol. Medical personnel and city police arrived.

DISTURBANCE: Police were called to a commercial area of Stevenson Avenue at 5:30 p.m. Oct 6. They found a transient was chanting to himself and yelling at people waking by. He was counseled by police and agreed to move along.

TO THE HOSPITAL: Staff called the police at noon Oct. 6 due to someone sleeping in the Enumclaw library. Medical personnel were then called to help with a highly intoxicated man who was taken to the hospital.

HELP WANTED: An adult male entered a city business the afternoon of Oct. 4, asking for medical aid and the Washington State Patrol. Medical personnel and city police arrived. The man declined transportation to the hospital and refused to speak to police regarding an assault and theft; he only wanted to speak with the WSP. He was given a phone number to call.
