An officer was flagged down the evening of Sept. 12 on Roosevelt Avenue by a citizen reporting a hit-and-run incident had just occurred. The suspect vehicle was located and the driver was arrested and booked into jail for driving under the influence.

JEWELRY MISSING: Police were told Sept. 12 that jewelry valued at approximately $3,500 had been stolen from a Roosevelt Avenue residence.

DRIVER ARRESTED: An officer was flagged down the evening of Sept. 12 on Roosevelt Avenue by a citizen reporting a hit-and-run incident had just occurred. The suspect vehicle was located and the driver was arrested and booked into jail for driving under the influence.

SEPTEMBER 14: Officers heard of a suspicious vehicle at a Hinkleman Road location, dealt with a report of malicious mischief and took one animal complaint, in addition to making five traffic stops.

SEPTEMBER 13: Police stopped an impaired driver in the vicinity of state Route 165 and Johns Road, responded to a report of suspicious circumstances on Chamberlain Street and heard of a domestic dispute on Spruce Street. In addition, there were four calls regarding parking problems and six traffic stops made.
