HOMELESS CAMP: Police took information the morning of Aug. 10 regarding a homeless camp near state Route 410. Because the camp was outside city jurisdiction, details were passed along to King County authorities.

SHOPLIFTING: An officer responded the afternoon of Aug. 10 to a Roosevelt Avenue location after hearing of a shoplifting incident. The suspect had departed, but employees planned to review surveillance tapes in hopes of identifying the person.
