Hornets’ state wrestling team to be honored with parade

The Enumclaw School District will honor the Enumclaw High state champion wrestling team Monday with a parade down Cole Street.

The Enumclaw School District will honor the Enumclaw High state champion wrestling team Monday with a parade down Cole Street.

To accommodate students who will be turning out for spring sports, the parade will begin at 4:30 p.m., and is estimated to take 15 minutes, concluding at the parking lot near the Enumclaw Chamber of Commerce for a short presentation.

A pizza dinner for the team will follow at the Enumclaw High School library.

The School Board plans to also honor the Hornets at its 6:30 p.m. meeting, also Monday.

This is the third state title in four years for the wrestling team.
