Police were called Sept. 21 when a vehicle was left parked at a gas pump on Griffin Avenue for two hours. The vehicle was being moved as officers responded and it was spotted in the parking lot of a convenience store.

INTERLOCK VIOLATION: Police were called Sept. 21 when a vehicle was left parked at a gas pump on Griffin Avenue for two hours. The vehicle was being moved as officers responded and it was spotted in the parking lot of a convenience store. The driver was arrested, booked and released due to being in violation of an order requiring an interlock device.

FIRE RESPONSE: Police and fire personnel responded at 7:27 p.m. Sept. 19 to a structure fire. Police assisted with crowd and traffic control.

SEEMS SUSPICIOUS: Police were told at 11:17 p.m. Sept. 19 of a suspicious vehicle parked in front of a McHugh Place residence. When an officer responded, the vehicle was quickly driven to a nearby residence and the male driver fled on foot. A passenger in the vehicle identified the driver, who was found to be wanted. The vehicle was impounded, the passenger was released and the suspect could not be located.
