Pierce County’s annual “Junk in Your Trunk” community sale takes place Saturday, June 21, and all patrons are invited to attend. Admission is free. Those interested in participating as vendors must register by Friday, June 20.

Junk in Your Trunk is a twist on the garage sale concept, with sellers loading up their vehicles with sale items and bringing them to the Sprinker Recreation Center parking lot from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. The address is 14824 “C” Street So. in Tacoma (click here for a map).

To sign up before the deadline, potential vendors must call 253-798-4141 or visit the Pierce County Parks and Recreation website. Seller registration fees are $20 per car, truck or van, and $30 for each RV or camper.

Those unable to participate will have two more chances throughout the summer with another Junk in Your Trunk event on July 12 and Aug. 2. Junk in Your Trunk takes place come rain or shine.
