A King County roads employee reportedly helped save a man having a seizure in Black Diamond.
According to the county, a Roads Services Division employee, who is only being identified as “KS,” spotted the man on the side of an unnamed road on Monday, Dec. 1; the man had been on a run.
KS then pulled over and called 911, but his emergency lights attracted the help of some other nearby people. Both KS and another man used their jackets to protect the man’s head and keep him warm.
EMS arrived a few minutes later to take the man to a hospital.
“KS – you definitely are a positive influence on those around you. King County is lucky to have you employed here,” KS’ supervisor Scott Ling said in a Facebook post. “Thank you for your selflessness and willingness to help others!! Thank you for your service!”
