  • A motion related to council adoption of the 2013 work program for the county auditor’s office (Motion 2013-0146).

 

 

Tuesday, April 2

 

Transportation, Economy and Environment Committee – 9:30 a.m.

Discussion only:

 

  • A motion relating to the King County Metro Strategic Plan for Public Transportation 2011 2021 and Service Guidelines accepting the King County Metro Transit 2012 Strategic Plan Progress Report (Motion 2013-0161).

Budget and Fiscal Management Committee – 1:30 p.m.

Committee members are scheduled to discuss and possibly recommend to the full council:

  • An ordinance making supplemental appropriations of $583,000 to the limited general obligation bond redemption fund and $8,280,000 to the conservation futures fund for the purpose of buying a conservation easement, and paying related debt service costs, over the King County portion of the White River Tree Farm (Ordinance 2013-0156).
  • An ordinance providing for the submission to the qualified electors of King County at a special election to be held in King County on August 6, 2013, of a proposition authorizing a property tax levy in excess of the levy limitation contained in chapter 84.55 RCW for a period of six consecutive years, at a total rate of not more than $0.1891 per one thousand dollars of assessed valuation in the first year with annual increases by the percentage increase in the consumer price index or the limitation in chapter 84.55 RCW, whichever is greater in years two through six, for the purpose of maintaining and safely operating King County’s parks system; improving parks, recreation, and mobility by acquiring open space and continuing to develop regional trails; repairing, replacing, and improving local parks and trails in King County’s cities; funding environmental education and conservation programs at the Woodland Park Zoo (Ordinance 2013-0112).

·         AN ORDINANCE relating to combined sewer overflow control policies (Ordinance 2013-0147).
