Metropolitan King County Council – 1:30 p.m.

— Presentation of County Service Awards

–Councilmembers will hear public testimony during their monthly public comment period. Speakers will have two minutes to address Councilmembers on matters relating to county government.

Councilmembers are scheduled to discuss and possibly act on:

  • An ordinance authorizing the King County executive to execute a thirty-year use agreement with Redmond North Little League, a Washington nonprofit organization, for the use, development, and construction of a baseball field and a synthetic multiuse field at Redmond Ridge park, Redmond, Washington (Ordinance 2013-0111).

For introduction and referral:

  • An ordinance making supplemental appropriations of $583,000 to the limited general obligation bond redemption fund and $8,280,000 to the conservation futures fund for the purpose of buying a conservation easement, and paying related debt service costs, over the King County portion of the White River Tree Farm (Ordinance 2013-0156).

  • A motion related to council adoption of the 2013 work program for the county auditor’s office (Motion 2013-0146).

 

  • An ordinance adopting the revision of voting precincts of King County for the year 2013 (Ordinance 2013-0148).

Law, Justice and Health and Human Services Committee – 1:30 p.m.

Briefing:

  • King County Prosecutor’s Office Reentry Summit Report (Briefing 2013-B0025).

Committee members are scheduled to discuss and possibly recommend to the full council:

  • An ordinance establishing a memorial for King County sheriff’s office personnel who have lost their lives in the performance of their duty; and requiring the executive and sheriff’s office develop a plan for a memorial in the King County Courthouse (Ordinance 2013-0132).
  • An ordinance adopting a framework for behavioral health services in King County (Ordinance 2013-0018).
