At its December meeting, the Pierce County Library System Board of Trustees plans to approve the library’s 2015 budget, and will hear results of the eighth annual library card drive, elect officers, set the salary for the executive director and set wages and benefits for non-union staff.

At its December meeting, the Pierce County Library System Board of Trustees plans to approve the library’s 2015 budget, and will hear results of the eighth annual library card drive, elect officers, set the salary for the executive director and set wages and benefits for non-union staff.

The board meets from 3:30 to 5:25 p.m. on Dec. 10 at the library’s Processing and Administrative Center, 3005 112th St. E., in Tacoma. The meeting is open to the public.

8th annual library card drive nets 22,259 new customersPierce County Library issued 22,259 new cards during its eighth annual card drive in October. The bulk of new cardholders came from an ongoing partnership with local school districts.
