Students from Bonney Lake and Sumner high schools showed their artistic flair April 5 during the 2009 Regional High School Art Show, hosted by Puget Sound Educational Service District in Renton.

Recipients of the Pierce County Arts and Cultural Service awards included: Taylor Andringa, Bonney Lake High: Outstanding Achievement and Honorable Mention for her watercolor painting, “Piece of Mind”; Shellie Schultz, Sumner High, Outstanding Achievement and Honorable Mention for her colored pencil design, “Three Musketeers”; Jeremy McPherson, Bonney Lake High, Pierce County Arts and Cultural Services award, for his graphite piece, “Spanaway”; Cydney Reed, Pierce County Arts and Cultural Service award, for her ceramic work, “Sea Vase”; and K. McGraw, Bonney Lake High, Outstanding Achievement Medium award, for her clay sculpture, “Emerging Koi.”
