With just a month or so remaining in 2014, we’re already looking ahead to next year’s projects. There are several in south King County, but we’ll highlight two projects today.

On SR 99 south of Federal Way, we’re going to replace a culvert that carries West Fork Hylebos Creek under the highway. The culvert is a fish barrier. We’re also going to realign and re-grade the creek to make it more fish friendly. It’s a pretty neat project that will open up an additional five miles of the stream to fish. More information is available on the project website.
