Malicious mischief suspect arrested | Enumclaw Police

Police successfully searched June 16 for a man who had damaged property at a Battersby Avenue address.

ROAD COMPLAINT: A citizen arrived at the police station lobby at 8:30 p.m. June 17, complaining about the construction of state Route 164 (Griffin Avenue). The individual was advised to contact the state Department of Transportation and/or Enumclaw City Hall.

DISTURBANCE: Police successfully searched June 16 for a man who had damaged property at a Battersby Avenue address. The suspect was found, arrested for malicious mischief and taken to the police station for booking. It was discovered he also was wanted on two arrest warrants issued by the Bonney Lake Police Department.

ONE ARRESTED: A Semanski Street resident notified police June 1, telling of a dispute with her sister. The caller wound up being arrested on an Enumclaw warrant.

VEHICLE VANDALIZED: A Semanski Street resident told police at 3:51 a.m. June 16 the windshield of his car had been smashed. There were no immediate suspects.

GUN STOLEN: A Pioneer Street resident entered the police station June 14, reporting the theft of a firearm.

GAS GONE: A Wilson Avenue resident requested additional police patrol June 16 after discovering approximately 10 gallons of gasoline had been stolen from a vehicle.

CIVIL ISSUE: Police took a third-party report June 16 of an unwanted person at a Paramount Drive residence. Officers contacted everyone involved and determined it was a civil issue, not criminal. All agreed to lock up the home until the problem was resolved.

DRUNK, PROFANE: Police took a report at 11:37 p.m. June 14 of an intoxicated man yelling profanity at passersby. He was contacted and counseled.

SUSPICIOUS STUFF: An officer responded the morning of June 13 to a Washington Avenue address to assist with a box that contained what was thought to be marijuana. Local police were to contact a federal agency to handle the situation.
