Man crashes into telephone pole | Enumclaw Police

A male driver crashed his car into a telephone pole and went into a ditch along Southeast 427th Street shortly before 2 a.m. July 27.

NEGLIGENT: A male driver crashed his car into a telephone pole and went into a ditch along Southeast 427th Street shortly before 2 a.m. July 27. He was transported to the hospital and charged with negligent driving.

VEHICLE PROWL: Two vehicles were reportedly prowled at a 268th Avenue Southeast locaton on July 27. One had some change taken; the other sustained $50 damage and had $50 worth of gasoline stolen. There were no immediate suspects.

NO CAMPING: A Chinook Avenue resident called police the morning of July 27, reporting people camping in McFarland Park. The campers were located and advised of park regulation prohibiting camping; they agreed to move on.

FOUR WARRANTS: Police heard July 26 of a man laying partially in the road near Veterans Memorial Park. After contacting the man it was discovered he was wanted on four warrants issued by Enumclaw Municipal Court. He was taken into custody and booked.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: A report of a man and a woman fighting had police responding at 11:30 p.m. July 26 to a Myrtine Street address. Officers contacted a woman and determined an assault had taken place but were unable to obtain a statement from the male involved. The issue was forwarded to the city prosecutor’s office.

RECOVERED: Two fire extinguishers were reported stolen at 3:54 a.m. July 26 from a Griffin Avenue location. They were located about 45 minutes later at the public library.

TRAFFIC HAZARD: Police were alerted the afternoon of July 26 to an all-terrrain vehicle being ridden in and out of traffic in the ficinity of Warner Avenue and 244th Avenue Southeast. The driver was contacted and advised to cease the activity.
