McGonagle, Cormier will wed in Boston

Ann Marie Laird of Seattle (formerly of Enumclaw) and Timothy McGonagle of Enumclaw have announced the engagement of their son, Ryan McGonagle, to Michelle Cormier, daughter of Jean and Christine Cormier of Boston.

Ann Marie Laird of Seattle (formerly of Enumclaw) and Timothy McGonagle of Enumclaw have announced the engagement of their son, Ryan McGonagle, to Michelle Cormier, daughter of Jean and Christine Cormier of Boston.

The groom-elect is a 2001 graduate of Enumclaw High School and is completing an assignment in Baghdad, Iraq. He is a foreign aid auditor for the United States Agency for International Development. He will complete his assignment in Iraq in mid-September.

The bride-to-be works for International Resources Group as an economic adviser for the USAID’s Office of Iraq Reconstruction.

The couple, who met in Baghdad, will be married in October 2009 in Boston. Following a honeymoon, they will relocate to the groom’s new USAID assignment in The Philippines.
