Metropolitan King County Council | April 28

Unanimously approved an ordinance authorizing the King County executive to enter into amendments to interlocal cooperation agreements with the cities of Auburn, Bellevue, Covington, Issaquah, Kent, Kirkland, Normandy Park, Redmond, Snoqualmie, Woodinville and Seattle for the disbursement of conservation futures tax levy funds (Ordinance 2014-0143).

At today’s Council meeting, Councilmembers:

  • Unanimously approved an ordinance authorizing the King County executive to enter into amendments to interlocal cooperation agreements with the cities of Auburn, Bellevue, Covington, Issaquah, Kent, Kirkland, Normandy Park, Redmond, Snoqualmie, Woodinville and Seattle for the disbursement of conservation futures tax levy funds (Ordinance 2014-0143).
  • Unanimously adopted a motion affirming King County’s support for the Skykomish Valley Economic Development, Recreation, and Natural Resource Conservation Initiative and recognizing the shared vision of the town of Skykomish and the Stevens Pass Greenway to enhance economic development, increase recreation opportunities and conserve the natural resources in the Skykomish Valley (Motion 2014-0102).
  • Unanimously adopted a motion approving specifications for the provision of banking services, and authorizing the executive to seek bids for provision of those services (Motion 2014-0146).
