Minor in possession | Buckley Police

A vehicle stop at 1:10 a.m. July 25 resulted in a Buckley man, 19, arrested for being a minor in possession of alcohol.

AGENCY ASSIST: While transporting a prisoner at 10:45 p.m. July 26, officers observed a recklessly driven vehicle. The officers determined that the vehicle posed an imminent threat to public safety, so the conducted a traffic stop in the area of state Route 167 and state Route 161. A Washington State Patrol  trooper was called to the scene and the Buckley officers continued with their prisoner transport.

SUSPENDED: An equipment violation resulted in a vehicle being stopped at 1:13 a.m. July 26 on Hinkleman Extension Road. It was determined a Tacoma man was driving on a suspended license. He was placed under arrest, issued a criminal citation and released on the scene without incident. His vehicle was impounded. At 4:51 a.m. a Buckley man was stopped for a moving violation; he was driving with a suspended license so he was arrested and released. His vehicle also was impounded.

DRUNK DRIVERS: A vehicle stop at 1:10 a.m. July 25 resulted in a Buckley man, 19, arrested for being a minor in possession of alcohol. He also was wanted on a Buckley arrest warrant. He was booked into the Enumclaw jail without incident. At 9:15 p.m. July 26, an Auburn man was stopped for multiple violations; he was found to be intoxicated and was arrested. Due to a prior DUI charge he was booked into the Fife jail.
