Pierce County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an apparent murder-suicide on Rhododendron Drive south of Bonney Lake.

Initial reports received by The Courier-Herald are that a boyfriend of a woman call 911 at 10:40 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, after finding her and her 16-year-old daughter dead. The first report is the two died of gunshot wounds in an apparent murder suicide. The mother appears to have shot her daughter then herself.

This is an ongoing investigation and details are not available at this time.

East Pierce Fire & Rescue emergency personnel responded to the scene.
