SHARON AVERILL

Sharon E. Averill, 70, died Aug. 7, 2009.

She was born Sept. 19, 1938, in St. Maries, Idaho. She lived in Black Diamond for 43 years and was a member of Black Diamond Eagles.

She is survived by children Sheryl Palley and husband Dean of Bonney Lake, Norman A. Averill and wife Mary of Kent, Wash., Earl Averill of Black Diamond, Gerry Averill and wife Tammy of Auburn, Terry Helm and husband Mitch of Wendall, Idaho and Byron Averill of Black Diamond; a sister; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Norman in 2003, three brothers, a sister and a great-granddaughter.

At her request, there were no services.

Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor’s choice.

SHIRLEY HEEN

Shirley Ann Heen, a familiar face in the Enumclaw community for more than two decades, died Aug. 8, 2009, in Buckley.

She was born June 24, 1931, in Yakima, Wash. She was a member of the Enumclaw Chamber of Commerce and Enumclaw Rotary, and served on the Enumclaw City Council and the Fair Board. She was the King County Fair manager for 25 years.

She is survived by her daughter Cindy Kittleson of Buckley; sons Darrel Heen and Keith Heen, both of Bonney Lake; sisters Lenore and Donna; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Kevin, husband Alvin and brother Jim Hartwell.
