REBECCA MAVIN

Rebecca Kay Mavin died July 21, 2009, at the age of 51.

She was born Nov. 8, 1957, in Newton, Iowa, to Joe and Gloria Harrelson. She previously lived in Iowa and Virginia and has resided in Greenwater for the last 21 years.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years Tom Mavin of Greenwater; daughter Jessica Mavin of Enumclaw; son Josh Mavin and wife Mandy; father and stepmother Joe and Shirley Harrelson; brothers Dennis Harrelson of Newton Iowa, and Mike Harrelson of Marshalltown, Iowa; brothers-in-law John Mavin of Knoxville, Iowa, Robert Mavin of Olathe, Kan., and Dick Mavin of Puyallup; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother Gloria DeJong, stepfather Frank DeJong, mother- and father-in-law Robert and Ethyle Mavin.

A memorial service will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at the Greenwater Community Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greenwater firefighters.

Richard VanHoof, 57, died July 26, 2009.

He was born Jan. 30, 1952.
