Police responded the morning of March 17 to a Watson Street location after hearing of a female who was kicking a dog as she walked it. Nothing was spotted.

ANIMAL ABUSE: Police responded the morning of March 17 to a Watson Street location after hearing of a female who was kicking a dog as she walked it. Nothing was spotted.

DRIVING ISSUE: The evening of March 17, police attempted to locate a Dodge Durango that was reportedly swerving, speeding and slowing. Officers stopped the vehicle on Roosevelt Avenue; the driver, who was not impaired, was given a verbal warning.

ANGRY CUSTOMER: Police were told a customer became irate and went into a profanity-laced tirade when told he had to leave his backpack at the front counter or leave the store. The incident occurred at 5:24 p.m. March 17 at a Roosevelt Avenue location. Police were given a description of the man but contact with store staff was declined.

ASSAULT ARREST: Police arrested and booked one person the afternoon of March 16, the result of a domestic violence/assault incident. The suspect’s vehicle was impounded as evidence.
