One evades, another not wanted | Enumclaw police reports March 16-17

ATTEMPT TO LOCATE: The King County Sheriff's Office advised local police the morning of March 17 of a robbery that occurred earlier in Black Diamond. Police were asked to watch for a man driving a black Pontiac Firebird.

UNWANTED SUBJECT: A woman called police at 10:44 p.m. March 17, advising of a man she did not want on the premises. The man agreed to leave, despite the fact his name was on the apartment lease agreement. It was determined to be a civil issue, not requiring police involvement.

VEHICLE IMPOUNDED: A traffic stop at 2:12 a.m. March 16 resulted in a man being arrested for not possessing a valid operator’s license. He was cited and released while his vehicle was impounded.

RECKLESS DRIVING: A Washington State Patrol trooper notified city police the afternoon of March 16, stating he had a reckless driver in custody. An officer responded and took the driver into custody for driving under the influence; his vehicle was impounded.

OUTSTANDING WARRANT: A traffic stop shortly before 10 p.m. March 16 in the vicinity of Roosevelt Avenue turned up a driver who was wanted on a Bonney Lake warrant for theft. He was arrested and taken to the police station for booking; his vehicle was released to a female passenger.
