Owner didn’t want vehicle towed | Enumclaw police reports March 22-24

AUTO TOWED: A vehicle was taken from a city parking lot March 24 without the owner’s permission. An employee of the two company said a man claiming to be the owner declared the auto was junk and wanted it towed away. The situation was being investigated.

DISORDERLY: An officer was summoned at 2:39 a.m. March 23 to the booking area at the police station to help a jailer restrain a subject hwo had been taken into custody.

AGGRESSIVE DOG: Police took a report the morning of March 22 regarding an aggressive dog at a Harding Street address. Police confirmed the dog was aggressive but were unable to locate the animal’s owner. King County Animal Control responded but could not locate the dog. Police received an additional complaint about the dog and were able to secure the animal in its yard.  Animal Control posted a  notice of violation and a fine. The dog’s owner was given two weeks to get the animal licensed and the fence repaired.

TWO DOGS: Police received a second call the morning of March 22, this time about two rottweilers at a Griffin Avenue location that were being aggressive toward people walking by. King County Animal Control responded and contacted the dog’s owners, who were visiting from out of state; they agreed to keep the dogs secured until they departed the following day.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT: Officers responded at 5:19 p.m. March 22 to a report of a domestic assault at a Weber Street address. A suspect was located and arrested for fourth-degree assault and being a minor in possession.

STOLEN PROPERTY: An officer responded at 10:18 p.m. March 22 to a Kibler Avenue address to check on possible stolen property that had been left there. It was determined items at the scene had been stolen during vehicle prowls in Enumclaw. The property was recovered and taken to the station.

AGENCY ASSIST: City police assisted county authorities at 11:24 p.m. March 22 who had detained a bicyclist in possession of burglary tools. The suspect was identified as a possible match to a description given following recent burglaries in the area. Information was forwarded to county detectives for follow-up. The suspect was stopped at Southeast 448th Street and 244th Avenue Southeast.
