A summer of reading choices awaits for all ages. Pierce County Library launches its Summer Reading program this Saturday, June 21. It ends Aug. 31.

Adults: Read and Win

New this year: Summer Reading for Adults. Explore, create and share to earn a Summer Reading Badge through the library’s new online activity and rewards program called Scout. Adults can also log their reading, earn prizes, join book clubs, attend author events, play book bingo and more.

Teens: Spark a Reaction

With the online Teen Summer Challenge: Spark a Reaction, ages 13 and up complete activities to unlock badges and have a chance to win an iPad mini.

 

Ages 3-12: Fizz Boom Read

Kids and tweens engage in activities related to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), earn reading prizes and enter a drawing to win an iPad mini in Fizz Boom Read.

Ages 0-3: Wee Readers

Children ages 0-3 and their parents or caregivers build early learning skills through Wee Readers. By completing reading logs with their parents or caregivers, young readers earn prizes.
