DRUGS SUSPECTED: Police were told the afternoon of Feb. 12 of possible drug use inside a vehicle that headed west  on state Route 410. The automobile was stopped in Buckley by a Washington State Patrol trooper. Both occupants admitted to being drug users but there was no evidence of drug use in the vehicle.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: Police were told the morning of Feb. 11 of suspicious subjects behind a Cole Street business. Police contacted a female, who was known to the officers, and advised her against bothering employees or patrons. Extra police patrol was requested.

STUDENTS DETAINED: Thunder Mountain Middle School’s dean of students called police the afternoon of Feb. 11 regarding to students who had been detained for possession of drug paraphernalia. The item was for informational purposes only, as the school was to handle the situation internally.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT: Police responded the afternoon of Feb. 11 to a Hawk Court address after hearing of a pit bull running loose. Contact was made with the owner, who was headed home to locate the dog. A second call was received regarding the animal, this one from a Myrtine Street resident who had the dog contained. King County Animal Control responded and impounded the pit bull, a breed prohibited within the Enumclaw city limits.
