ENUMCLAW

Jan. 5

– Officers were called out to Porter Street to a report of two loose dogs around 2:25 p.m. The canines were wrangled but their owners could not be reached.

– Police heard of an assault on Roosevelt Avenue around 7:38 p.m. and contacted the reporting party by phone. They said they would make a report the next day.

Jan. 6

– Another loose dog had officers out at Loraine Street and Lincoln Avenue around 12:58 p.m. A neighbor was able to help direct officers to the supposed owner of the dog, and police were able to encourage it back onto the property.

– Police were dispatched to Semanski Street to a report of a vehicle blocking the road around 1:06 p.m. The driver told officers they were waiting for their child to get out of school, and agreed to move.

– Officers received a report of a loose dog chasing children on Petschauer Place around 1:49 p.m. The dog was secured when police arrived, but the owner was counseled.

Jan. 7

– Police spotted an unoccupied stolen vehicle on Warner Avenue around 9:07 a.m. The vehicle was searched and the owner contacted.

– Officers were dispatched to Kibler Avenue after a house was egged around 11:17 a.m.

– Police came across a vehicle at Ellenson Park around 5:16 p.m. Officers contacted the driver who told them they were playing Pokemon. They were advised of park hours and left.

– Officers assisted Buckley police with a felony warrant subject on Roosevelt Avenue around 11:30 p.m. The warrant was not confirmed.

Jan. 8

– Police performed a welfare check on a child in a car seat at the Brown Bear Car Wash around 8:02 a.m. No crime was committed, and the child was fine.

– Officers were dispatched to Laukala Place for a possible vehicle prowl around 8:09 a.m. The subjects were replacing a lock on a vehicle.

– An anonymous caller told police there were multiple illegally parked vehicles on Division Street and SE 432nd Street around 4:42 p.m. Officers made contact with the owners and they agreed to park elsewhere.

– Officers received a report of a second egging on Harding Street around 5:38 p.m. They could not locate the damaged home.

– Police responded to a motor vehicle vs. pedestrian collision on Kibler Avenue and Porter Street around 7:94 p.m. The pedestrian was taken to a hospital for evaluation.

– A woman was worried about her sister and filled out a missing person report around 8:08 p.m. Officers contacted Sumner police on Jan. 9 to check on a possible location of the subject, but were unsuccessful. Officers spotted the subject on Jan. 11.

Jan. 9

– Police were called to Alpine Place to locate people walking around homes with a flashlight around 7:40 a.m. Once contacted, the subjects told officers they were recovering items blown away from the wind.

– Officers and EMS responded to a possible overdose on Grand Fir Drive around 5:54 p.m. The subject was transported to the hospital.

Jan. 10

– Police took possession of a fake $20 bill for destruction around 1:09 p.m.

– Officers were called regarding a cat being taken from a Petersen Drive location around 3:32 p.m. The person who took the animal agreed to bring it back.

Jan. 11

– Police spotted a missing person on Natalie Place around 4 p.m. The family was contacted.

– Officers were called to Florence Street around 5:20 p.m. regarding a patient being unruly. The situation was settled on contact.

– Police responded with firefighters to an illegal burn on Cole Street and SR 410 around 5:44 p.m. The fire was extinguished.

Jan. 12

– Officers attempted to pull over a vehicle on Griffin Avenue and Porter Street around 2 p.m. The vehicle fled at a high rate of speed.

– Police responded to a report of threats made to a Chase Bank employee around 4:20 p.m. The subject will be trespassed.

Jan. 13

– Police were dispatched to Roosevelt Avenue and Stevenson Avenue around 2:50 p.m. to a hit and run report. Officers were able to findthe suspect vehicle nearby and arrest the driver for DUI and hit and run.

Jan. 14

– A traffic stop on SR 410 and Roosevelt Avenue around 12:37 a.m. resulted in a DUI arrest.

– Officers were alerted to a shoplifter in the Use It Again Store around 12:36 p.m. The subject was arrested and booked.

– Police received a report of a shoplift at the Game Vault around 3:55 p.m. A report was taken.

– Officers were dispatched to Sunset Avenue to an assault report around 5:23 p.m. One subject was arrested and booked.

– Police received a report of a fight on Cole Street around 6:52 p.m. It was a case of mutual combat.

Jan. 16

– Officers were dispatched to Cole Street and Stevenson Avenue around 3:06 a.m. to a hit and run report involving one vehicle and a stop sign. The car was found later in a ditch and towed.

– Police attempted to stop a tow truck with no plates around 9:33 a.m. The truck fled from the scene.

– Officers stopped a subject on Chinook Avenue and arrested them on a warrant around 9:46 a.m.

Jan. 17

– The police chief was flagged down on Griffin Avenue to check on subjects that appeared to be passed out in their vehicle. Police contacted the subject, who agreed to leave.

Jan. 18

– Officers received a report of a subject attempting to break into a Natalie Place home around 9:54 a.m. The subjects were located, trespassed, and one arrested on an EPD warrant.

– Police received a report of a shoplift from a Griffin Avenue business around 12:29 p.m. Officers believed the subject would return, as they left their cell phone, but they did not come back.

BUCKLEY

Jan. 5

– Officers spotted a vehicle on Main Street with its hazard lights on, blocking westbound traffic, around 8:59 p.m. Inside was an unconscious female holding a can of Dust-Off. She regained consciousness and police determined she was huffing and arrested her for DUI.

Jan. 7

– Police arrested a man on Main Street around 1:37 a.m. for driving with a suspended license.

– Officers were dispatched to a single-vehicle collision on SR 410/E. Hinkleman Road around 9:03 a.m. A witness said the car was swerving before ending up in a ditch. Police contacted the driver and determined he was intoxicated, and he was arrested for DUI. He was later found to be three times over the legal limit.

– Police observed a known subject with a felony warrant at the Enumclaw Safeway around 11:29 p.m. He was arrested, but the man was unable to be booked.

BLACK DIAMOND

Dec. 30

– Officers were alerted to a broken lock at a storage unit on 3rd Avenue around 10:20 a.m. An investigation was opened.

Jan. 9

– A good Samaritan found a wallet and dropped it off at the BDPD around 4:30 p.m.

Jan. 10

– Police were dispatched to SE Evergreen Street around 12:45 a.m. to a fight report; the complaint described four males fighting in the street. Officers arrived and it was determined the dispute was verbal only. All subjects agreed to leave.

Jan. 11

– Officers received a report of a single vehicle collision on Enumclaw Black Diamond Road around 4:13 p.m. When police arrived, they saw that a truck and trailer collided with a guardrail, blocking southbound traffic. Medical aid was called, but the driver declined help. The trailer was towed, but the truck was able to be driven away.

Jan. 14

– Police were alerted to a suspicious vehicle on 3rd Avenue around 9:28 p.m. When officers arrived on scene the vehicle was leaving; a check of the area revealed no signs of criminal activity.

– Officers were dispatched to assist EMS on Lake Sawyer Road around 11:01 a.m. EMS said there was someone on a trail at Lake Sawyer Regional Park that needed assistance, but they could not get their equipment into the park until police unlocked a gate into the area. Officers unlocked the gate and relocked it when the scene was cleared.
