Several loose dogs, damage at The Sequel, and a few thefts caught on tape.

ENUMCLAW

Dec. 1

– Officers responded to a report of a loose dog at the park on Farrelly Street going after another dog. The dog was taken home to its owner.

– An officer responded to a call in the on Roosevelt Avenue about a suspicious vehicle. The driver turned out to merely be having issues with their gas cap.

Dec. 2

– An officer took a report of an attempted identity theft at the Chase Bank on Stevenson Ave.

– Officers responded to reports of a theft in progress on Roosevelt Avenue. There wasn’t enough evidence to establish a crime had been occurred, so two people were trespassed from the business, one of them taken to jail on criminal warrants out of Federal Way.

– A firearm was found in a restroom of Il Siciliano on Myrtle Ave. The owner was contacted to pick the gun up at the police department.

Dec. 3

– Officers received a report that people were throwing objects at vehicles in the road in the early morning at SE 436th Way and 244th Ave SE. An officer checked the area but didn’t see or hear anything.

– A theft was reported from a motor vehicle in the parking lot of the Enumclaw pool. Officers responded, but the subjects were gone when they arrived.

– An assault was reported at Cole Street and Stevenson Ave. Officers responded, arrested and booked the suspect.

– A person had a medical emergency during the Christmas parade on Griffin Ave. An officer took them to St. Elizabeth hospital.

– A wallet was reported stolen from a locker room at the Enumclaw pool. An officer responded and took a report.

– An incident of malicious mischief was reported at The Sequel Books & Espresso on Cole Street. An officer responded and ultimately arrested and booked the person into the Enumclaw jail. They paid bail and were released the following morning.

Dec. 4

– Two firearms were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Link Ave. Officers responded but could not identify any suspects. The weapons were logged.

Dec. 5

– A caller reported that someone attempted to steal a catalytic converter the night before. The car part was still attached but had been damaged. A report was taken.

– A caller reported that a vehicle and trailer had been parked for 10 days without moving on Stevenson Ave. An officer responded, contacted the registered owner, and the matter was settled.

Dec. 7

– A family member of a former employee at a Griffin Ave. business reportedly made threats against management. An officer made contact with the victim.

Dec. 8

– A basket with drug paraphernalia was found in a Porter Street alley way. An officer retrieved and disposed of it.

BUCKLEY

Dec. 1

– Officers were dispatched to a hit-and-run on Main Street around 8:30 p.m. According to the reporting party, a truck collided with the back of a parked car and drove off. Police learned truck’s license plate number and officers were able to locate it and the driver, who was cited.

Dec. 2

– Police responded to a car with broken windows on SR 410 around 2:36 a.m. Officers later found another car with a broken window and a trailer with a cut lock. Video footage of the area showed an unidentified male wearing a dark-colored hoodie and jeans breaking into the cars and removing items; his car is suspected to be an older beige Chevrolet Uplander. – Officers were dispatched to a physical domestic violence incident on Cothery Street in Wilkeson around 6:31 p.m. It was determined a female assaulted a male at the scene; she was charged.

Dec. 3

– Police received a report of a car theft and domestic violence assault on SR 410 around 8:10 p.m. They learned from the female reporting party that a man took her vehicle without permission and assaulted her. The man was located later and arrested; he was also found with meth. The vehicle was also located.

BLACK DIAMOND

Nov. 28

– Officers were dispatched to Roberts Drive around 10:16 a.m. in regard to a loose dog report. Police were able to wrangle the two canines and turned them over to county animal control.

Nov. 29

– Police were called to Kummer Avenue around 7:33 a.m. regarding a strange woman yelling for help. She declined aid from officers and firefighter and refused to give any information on who she was or how she got to the neighborhood. Eventually she told police she wanted to be dropped off at a local hospital.

– Officers responded to a commercial burglary report on 216th Avenue SE around 10:50 a.m. The reporting party said when they came to open for the day, they found the front door had been pried open during the night. Surveillance footage caught two subjects entering the business.

– Police responded to a two-car collision at Lawson Street and 3rd Avenue around 11:24 a.m. The vehicles sustained moderate damage but no injuries were reported.

– Officers performed a welfare check on a SE Fir Street resident around 3:06 p.m. The subject told police there was a misunderstanding with an out-of-state relative and that they were fine.

Nov. 30

– Police were told by Black Diamond city staff that there was a mail theft on 228th Avenue SE around 1:56 p.m. Officers contacted the reporting party and an investigation opened.

Dec. 2

– Officers kept a domestic situation calm on 3rd Avenue while a male and female were arguing over who would take possession of their dog around 8:48 p.m.

Dec. 3

– Police were told of a theft in progress on Walnut Avenue SE around 9:46 a.m. Officers arrived on the scene and were able to identify the subjects described by the reporting party; they learned the subjects worked for a development and were gathering materials from one work site to move to another.

Dec. 4

– Officers were dispatched to 232nd Avenue SE to a porch theft report around 10:26 a.m. The reporting party supplied police with security footage showing the subject involved. Officers on patrol later located the subject and learned they were a neighbor that collected the packages so they wouldn’t be stolen; police are waiting for the reporting party to verify the packages were returned.

Dec. 5

– Police responded to a reported fight on Lawson Street around 10:40 a.m. The parties involved left before officers arrived, but they were able to make contact with one subject, who said the other person involved passed him while driving and was speeding through a residential area. He told police he followed the driver, who was an Amazon delivery driver, to his next stop and got into a verbal fight. No physical contact was made, and officers determined no crime was committed.

– Officers were dispatched to a road rage complaint on Willow Avenue SE around 11:03 a.m. According to one subject, the incident happened on Highway 18 and another driver followed him to Willow Avenue. There, a verbal dispute took place, but no physical contact was made. It’s unknown if this is the same situation reported to police earlier that morning.
