• Police were told Saturday of the theft of two green, vintage, wicker rocking chairs valued at $200. They were taken the night before from the front porch of a Lafromboise Street residence.

CHAIRS STOLEN

• Police were told Saturday of the theft of two green, vintage, wicker rocking chairs valued at $200. They were taken the night before from the front porch of a Lafromboise Street residence.

DISORDERLY

• Officers were called shortly after midnight Thursday and were asked to contact patrons of a Railroad Street establishment who had become disorderly. An officer responded and told certain subjects they were to leave the business for the night.

DRUNK DRIVING

• Two officers made two traffic stops Thursday night, one at 11:19 at the corner of Porter Street and Kibler Avenue, and the other at 11:22 on Cole Street. In each case, the driver was arrested and booked for driving under the influence and the vehicle was impounded.

DAMAGE DONE

• A Lowell Avenue resident told police shortly before 4 a.m. April 29 that a side window in his 2008 Toyota pickup was broken the night before. Nothing was reported missing.

• Officers were told that a vehicle was broken into April 29 while it was parked on Cole Street. Nothing was taken.

NO SALE

• After receiving a complaint of solicitors going door-to-door April 29 in the Wynalda Drive vicinity, officers contacted two subjects and advised them to stop selling. They also were told about the city’s required permits for such activity.

REPOSSESSION

• Officers were asked to be present April 29 during an attempted vehicle repossession. Police made contact with unwilling subject and counseled everyone. The vehicle was left with the registered owner.

THEFT

• Several pieces of equipment were reported stolen April 28 from the back of a truck parked on Griffin Avenue.

DOMESTIC TROUBLE

• Both a husband and wife arrived at the police station April 28, reporting domestic trouble at the home. The husband was arrested for fourth-degree assault and booked into the city jail.

ARREST WARRANT

• A traffic stop April 28 resulted in a subject taken into custody on an outstanding arrest warrant issued in Walla Walla, Wash. The person was booked into the local jail, awaiting transportation to Walla Walla.

VOLUNTARY COMMIT

• Police responded to a Jensen Street address the morning of April 28 after learning that a person was threatening to commit suicide. The subject was transported to Auburn Regional Hospital where staff notified the person’s doctor and daughter.

INVOLUNTARY COMMIT

• Police and fire units arrived at a Watson Street address April 27 after hearing of a woman cutting herself. She was involuntarily taken to Enumclaw Regional Hospital.

ROAD RAGE

• Police were told April 27 of a road rage incident that occurred just outside the city limits on state Route 169. A driver who failed to yield the right of way was being followed by another motorist. Both drivers came upon a police officer who talked to both and settled the issue.
