Enumclaw

ASSAULT

• Police responded just after midnight May 19 to a Railroad Street business and the report of an outdoor fight involving two men. One subject required medical aid and another was taken into custody and booked for fourth-degree assault. The victim was taken to Enumclaw Regional Hospital with a broken ankle.

RECKLESS

• An officer contacted three subjects May 19 on Garfield Street and talked about their reckless driving. Each admitted to being reckless and promised to no longer speed on the road.

DOG BITE

• A Silver Springs Avenue resident reported May 18 a dog bite incident, a small wound to the thigh. The victim had contacted a doctor and the incident was reported to King County Animal Control.

RECKLESS DRIVING

• At nearly 11 p.m. Saturday there was a report called in by an off-duty officer of a vehicle being driven recklessly and the driver tossing garbage out of the vehicle’s window at the corner of state Route 410 and 244th Avenue Southeast. While the Washington State Patrol handled the situation the Enumclaw officer stood by for a driver to remove the car from the scene.

DISTURBANCE

• The host for a camping area located on 284th Avenue Southeast called police to the scene after reports that two females were apparently creating a disturbance as they rode their scooters up and down the park’s streets at approximately midnight Friday. When officers arrived they found only a couple of subjects sitting by a campfire.

BMX BIKE THEFT

• On Friday afternoon, officers were dispatched to a Cole Street residence, where it was reported that a BMX-style bike had been stolen and was valued at $450. There are no suspects at this time.

Buckley

KNOCK, KNOCK

• Police were dispatched to the scene of a man knocking wildly on the door of an Elsa Street North home Thursday evening and noted the individual was exhibiting signs of having consumed alcohol. After the man consented to taking a breathalyzer test, which registered at three times over the legal limit, the man began to vomit on the abode’s front porch.

At this point officers requested medical aid considering the man’s blood alcohol level, but the man said he would be sure to go by the hospital on his way home to have it checked.
