• A 22-year-old male was arrested for disorderly conduct when officers were doing a security check at 12:03 a.m. March 18 to a call at a business on the Old Buckley Highway. Security alerted officers a man was being escorted out of the establishment. The man was resisting being escorted out and was fighting with security. Officers took the man into custody and placed him in handcuffs. The man told officers he became upset when the security told his friend to leave. The man was arrested for disorderly conduct, cited and released.

FIGHT

• A 22-year-old male was arrested for disorderly conduct when officers were doing a security check at 12:03 a.m. March 18 to a call at a business on the Old Buckley Highway. Officers took the man into custody and placed him in handcuffs. The man told officers he became upset when the security told his friend to leave. The man was arrested for disorderly conduct, cited and released.

FRAUD

• A 31-year-old male reported to officers on March 15 at 6 p.m. he noticed fraudulent activity on his checking account. Two unauthorized withdrawals were made on March 12 in the amounts of $202 and $49. Police provided the man with a case number to follow up with the bank and the business which was named with the charges.

SUSPENDED LICENSE

• While on patrol near 233rd Ave. E. and SR 410 on March 13, an officer noticed after a records check on a vehicle, it was registered to a driver whose license was suspended. The officer stopped the vehicle, confirmed the driver and placed him under arrest for driving with license suspended in the third degree. The 22-year-old driver was cited and released and his vehicle was impounded.

VEHCILE PROWL/THEFT

• Police responded to a report of vehicle prowl along SR 410 March 14. The 37-year-old female victim noticed at 1:30 her vehicle window was broken and her purse and GPS device were stolen. The items were valued at $500. There was no suspect information available at the time.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY

• Police were dispatched to a store along SR 410 regarding an overnight burglary. The business owner told officers when he arrived to open the store, he saw the cash register open and $300 was missing. Thirty watches were also missing from the store and a box had been moved. No fingerprints were left at the crime scene.

Sumner

WARRANT

• On March 12, an officer on patrol stopped two men coming from behind a business along Valley Avenue East. They said they were walking from Puyallup to Sumner to visit relatives. The officer let them go while running a check. The check showed one of the males had a Washington State Patrol warrant for recreational fishing second degree. The officer relocated the males in the 1000 block of Fryar Avenue and placed the one under arrest. During the search, the officer found an unlabeled pill bottle and asked about it. The male said it was a marijuana container. The officer cited him for possession of marijuana.

PACKAGE TAKEN

• A resident on Lewis Avenue reported that a package with a computer was stolen off the front porch March 12. She expected the package and waited, finally calling the shipping company to learn it had been delivered that morning.

PURSE STOLEN

• On March 15, a woman discovered her purse hadbeen stolen from her vehicle parked in a church parking lot on Valley Avenue. She provided police with information on credit cards. One card was used in Puyallup to buy a number of items, including Sinful Nail Polish. The incident is under investigation.
