FALSE STATEMENT

• On Nov. 30, police were dispatched to Bank of America regarding someone attempting to open an account with fraudulent identification. The man’s identity was not established because he did not provide information. He was booked into the Buckley Jail for obstruction. Later, someone who knows the man dropped off identification at the jail.

ASSAULT

• On Nov. 28, police were dispatched to Bonney Lake High School for an assault in progress. The involved parties were a 43-year-old man and a 36-year-old man. The 36-year-old allegedly was upset with his wife and the 43-year-old tried to calm the man, but he became aggressive. A witness at the scene said she saw the accused push the victim. The accused was cited for disorderly conduct.

COUNTERFEIT

• On Nov. 27, police were dispatched to Papa John’s for a report of a counterfeit $20 bill. Police visited the residence of the man who paid for the pizza with the bill. The driver remembered the residence because there was no tip. The 50-year-old man stated he received the bill from a casino and did not know it was counterfeit. He was discovered to have warrants and was cited for them.

FRAUD

• On Nov. 27 a man reported his credit card was used illegally. The man’s wallet was stolen during the night and he noticed other cards used.
